About Me

Debi Kezia is my name, and before you say what the... it is pronounced KEY-ZEE-AH... I'm 26 years old and the youngest out of four girls. I was born and raised in Waterbury CT and now lives in Thomaston with my family. Even though I have 3 older sisters by blood I have two others that I consider to be my sisters; they know who they are and know I love their faces! My parents are supportive no matter what and are the best. I have a drafting certificate (gotta love Tech schools) and I'm certified to be a medical biller/coder.
Being raised in Waterbury isn't as bad as what some people would make it out to be, it has made me a strong and independent. It had the culture and a verity of people to know, be around, love and anything that you can think of.

My two little monsters are the best. When I told them I was writing a book they said make it as cool as they are. Go figure. They are crazy kids but anyone who meets them loves them right off the bat. The one place that the monsters don't go off the wall is the grocery store because they know that if they want me to stock  up on the snacks they have no choice but to be good. I won't waste a coupon if they are bad running around the store. (yes I am a couponer.. gotta love saving money)

My favorite colors are HOT pink and Black (you will always see my nails in either). I'm a sucker for stories with happy endings but I do love me a laugh. I love to listen to music anything pop, rap, r&b, rock (a lot of rock) and country.

In the summer of 2012 I started reading, of coarse I started reading fifty shades of Grey and loved it then I found Beautiful Disaster by Mrs. Jamie McGuire and I
loved loved loved it. About a month before broke my ankle I had this idea pop into my head (Chasing the Need) and it wouldn't leave. I spent the next couple of months sitting down on my butt getting Kenzie's and Adam's story out on paper and even though I'm not completely done with it I am excited.

What I want to do with all of my books is incorporate important events that had happened in my life. And hopefully my stories will touch someone's heart out there somewhere.
